My name is Dr. Tessia Brixey, and I am the principal at Petrosky Elementary School. I have been a proud member of the Alief family for more than 18 years and I am currently principal at Petrosky Elementary. I have taught 1st grade, 3rd grade, and 5th grade, and I have served as Principal at Youens Elementary and Assistant Principal at Chancellor Elementary.

I graduated from Texas A&M University, where I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree in English. I have earned my Masters of Education Administration from University of Houston Clear Lake and my Doctorate of Education in Ethical Leadership from University of St. Thomas.

I am proud to be an educator in Alief ISD and I believe all children deserve an educational experience that will propel them as global thinkers and leaders in today's ever-changing world.
